The living room: 100 m² open to the ocean
The heart of the house. A big, airy room with a table for eight, orange sofas and glass doors that slide open onto the terrace and the pool. Morning light, afternoon breeze, and the sea in the frame all day long. It is cooled by large ceiling fans and cross-ventilation; the bedrooms have air conditioning.
Four suites, each with its own bathroom
Four air-conditioned bedrooms, each behind its own door, each with a private stone-and-wood bathroom. Upstairs, the sea-view suite: a king-size (200 cm) bed and a desk facing the ocean, for remote work with boats going by. On the ground floor, garden and pool side, a suite with a 200 cm bed and walk-in closet, and a twin suite (beds joined into a 160 cm queen on request), also with a walk-in closet. In the inner patio, a self-contained studio with a 140 cm double bed, desk and bathroom. Two families, four couples, eight friends: everyone gets their own space.
The pool and the ipê deck
Under a big tree, an 8 × 3 m pool (1.40 m deep) edged with an ipê-wood deck, lit at night, with a head-on view of the ocean and the Cagarras islands. Around it: a round table and chairs, sun loungers, an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and an outdoor shower. The garden draws toucans, monkeys and hummingbirds in the early morning. The pool is shared with no one: it is yours, from the first coffee to the last swim of the night.
A kitchen for cooking for eight
A long counter, five-burner gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, filter and espresso coffee makers, kettle, toaster, blender — everything for a dinner for eight after the Leblon market, or a quick breakfast before the beach. A washing machine is available. The kitchen opens onto the living room, so the cook stays in the conversation. Wi-Fi throughout the house, TV and speakers; foosball and darts for the evenings.
The caretakers and everyday life
A caretaker couple lives in separate quarters on the property: they tend the garden, do the weekday housekeeping and watch over the house. A welcome team, reachable throughout your stay, greets you, knows the neighborhood, calls a taxi, suggests a restaurant — in Portuguese, English and Spanish. One hour of housekeeping is included every weekday; towels and bed linen are changed every five days. Self check-in with a smart lock from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am.
