The rate covers the whole house — four suites, living room, kitchen, garden and pool — plus one hour of housekeeping every weekday and the caretakers on site. This is the regular-season rate: at New Year's Eve the price is roughly tripled, and Carnival follows a similar logic. Exact periods and prices are those of the calendar below, updated in real time.

What the equivalent costs elsewhere in Rio
For eight people, Vila Oriba costs less than four sea-view double rooms at the Sheraton next door (R$1,378 per room before breakfast and resort fee — R$5,512 for four) against about R$2,700 for the whole house. A four-suite sea-view apartment on Avenida Vieira Souto in Ipanema rents for R$4,500–4,800 a night with no private pool; villas in Joá and Joatinga run US$2,100–5,900, with no beach within walking distance. At New Year's Eve the gap holds: Copacabana hotels multiply by 3 to 6, Vila Oriba stays around €169 per person. Prices checked 13 September 2026.
